“Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief, like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates? Not me,” she said. “I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family.”

Brown also shared behind-the-scenes photos with the caption, “with love, el,” paying tribute to her iconic character.

Noah Schnapp: “A Lifelong Dream”

Noah Schnapp, who portrayed the emotionally complex Will Byers, looked back on the transformative journey since the series debuted in 2016.

“Two days ago, I wrapped my final scene as Will Byers, and I’m feeling very emotional,” he wrote on Instagram, sharing photos spanning all five seasons.

Schnapp reflected on how the series helped him grow:
“I always felt like an outcast, unsure of where I fit in. Navigating life in the spotlight while carrying this feeling has been an unusual experience, but I’ve been honored to share it with my incredible co-stars.”

He also shared a “top 10” list of life lessons he learned from the cast and creators.

Finn Wolfhard: “Still in Shock”

Finn Wolfhard, who played Mike Wheeler, posted set photos and reminisced about the journey, calling the experience surreal.

“We just wrapped Stranger Things Season 5. I’m still in shock. We shot it for a year, and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly,” he wrote.

Wolfhard reflected on how much the cast has grown together, sharing a nostalgic image from the first season:
“A bunch of goofy young people making something they think is cool but really have no clue what’s to come. I feel like we’re still those people and I’m lucky to still stand beside them today.”

What’s Next for Stranger Things

Season 5 will take viewers to the fall of 1987, following the fallout from the explosive events of season 4. Fans will see Eleven, Mike, Will, Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) contend with the chaos wrought by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and the Upside Down’s invasion of Hawkins. Meanwhile, Max (Sadie Sink) remains comatose after her near-death experience.

The final season will consist of eight episodes and is set to release in 2025.

For fans of Stranger Things, the end may be bittersweet, but the tributes from its stars prove that the legacy of Hawkins and the Upside Down will live on.
